The rating factored in jobseeker opinions, employee feedback, and expert views on the performance of corporate HR functions. Jobseeker opinions were sourced via a poll during 2–31 October 2017 in accordance with the methodology approved by the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM), and the participants included job-seeking visitors of hh.ru and similar websites. The 2017 rating covered more than 260 companies.

Special data obtained for Russia’s Employers Rating served as the basis for several subratings. In addition to coming out on top in HeadHunter's main rating, SIBUR was jobseekers' first-choice employer and ranked 1st among Energy, Mining and Processing companies.

“SIBUR owes its continuing leadership as an employer to each and every one of its employees. Our top position in this nationwide rating testifies to the effectiveness of our efforts to boost the appeal of a career in industrial production and petrochemistry in particular. Our employees are the most valuable asset of the Company, so we are pleased to say that our top ranking was bolstered by their positive assessment of our corporate culture, communications and incentives, as well as career growth and professional development opportunities,” said Albina Labashova, Head of HR at SIBUR.

SIBUR has been consistently ranked as the top employer. Aside from being HeadHunter’s top pick for two years in a row, in 2015 and 2016 the Company was also rated by Universum and Randstad as the most attractive employer in the chemical industry. Future Today named SIBUR the No. 1 employer for students seeking a career in a particular industry.
